My love for New Mexico knows no bounds, and with every oil painting I capture of its exquisite landscapes, my heart swells that much more. At dusk, as the sun slowly fades behind the snowy mountaintops, harvesting a gentle pink along its edges, I am struck by moments of incomparable awe. In these hours I have always found peace - may it be in the peaceful meandering Rio Grande or the majestic stoicism found within the towering Aspens dotting the ground. It is here that I feel nature's warm embrace and come to realize why it has been said that "Each figure in her art reflects a part of her world ." Few scenes match its beauty - especially through the brush strokes of an award-winning artist such as myself, who intimately captures them on fine art canvases. Indeed, while my adventurer's heart provokes me to visit far and wide places around this planet; my journey eventually brings me back to this land where I can pause a while longer - Longing for New Mexico ever more deeply.
