Cultivating Vistas
Margaret Harwell Art Museum · Poplar Bluff, Missouri · May - June 2027
I am thrilled to announce Cultivating Vistas, my first solo museum exhibition, at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This show is a homecoming for me. Poplar Bluff is my hometown, and I cannot wait to bring this work back home.
Studio Visit:
August 2026
Robbi’s Studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Kaywin Feldman, Director of the National Gallery of Art, visited with National Gallery trustee Andrew Saul and curator Dakota Hoska, along with Loren, Anne and Kate Kieve, Ed and Maria Gale, Caroline Delaney and Anand Nair, and Kris Estes.
The group spent time with The Infertility Project, Robbi's 27-piece installation confronting infertility and the responsibility to think, not just feel, our way through it.
Solo Gallery Exhibition:
July- September 2026
The Long Horizon
“These paintings trace a story about blood, bones, and the landscapes that live in us long before we arrive in them; a story about women who had the courage to follow what called them, whether it be a horizon, a concept, a love, or a light they could not explain or deny.”
Curator Maureen Sarro, “The Long Horizon”
Gallery Visit & Artist Talk: August 2026
August 8, 2026 Gallery 215 · Taos, New Mexico
Beauty. Presence. Urgency. Activism. Exploration. Materiality.
Firestone's paintings are acts of attention. Landscapes rooted in NYC and New Mexico light. Conceptual work rooted in personal responsibility and the demand for change.
The breadth of the female voice: Art for presence. Art for beauty. Art for change.
Gallery 215 · 215 Ranchitos Road · Taos, New Mexico
Robbi Firestone is a New York- and Santa Fe-based painter and conceptual artist asking how beauty, urgency, and ethical responsibility coexist in a fragile yet hopeful world.
