Behind the Art: Videos
This is the filmed, moving record of my work…
Opening nights. A documentary about my infertilty project (premiered at the United Nations.) Moving portfolios that showcase series. Some Process. Completions. Artist talks. Interviews. Candids. Museum directors walking through the studio. Curators. Collectors in gallery on opening nights.
Welcome to my work, seen in motion, and the beautiful, intelligent world of humans who have gathered with me.

The Brink: Echos
of An Unspoken Dawn
The Brink: Echo of an Unspoken Dawn, a painting by artist Robbi Firestone, now in the private collection of Christopher Rothko and Lori Cohen.
2026 | Oil, charcoal, metallic ink, watercolor, soft pastel, acrylic on canvas | 60 x 60 inches (152.4 x 152.4 cm)
A storm and a sunrise share one canvas. The camera starts on the whole painting, moves into the clouds and the drips, and pulls back out to a small orange sun on the horizon. Christopher Rothko wrote: "Robbi Firestone's The Brink: Echo of an Unspoken Dawn, passionately combines beauty and turmoil, hope and foreboding. A skyscape for our times."
I am in a lovership with the sky. The Brink is part of that conversation.
Robbi Firestone is a contemporary American artist based in New York City and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her art moves between two tracks. One centers on painting, her "feeling" work. The other is conceptual, the "thinking," or "action" work, hopefully promoting activism. The Opening Event for

Three minute video of the finished paintings, the collectors who acquired them, and the museum directors who came to see the work in person.
The Infertility Project
The Empty Womb
by Betsy Chasse
A journey through infertility, grief, resilience, and the courage to reclaim identity. An eighteen minute, short film by internationally renowned, documentary filmmaker of What the Bleep Do We Know, and many more.
This is NOT a flattering take on me, personally. But it’s an important story for anyone suffering infertilty. Please visit and support her substack…. Betsy’s work is important. Her stories captured are human. Her talent is incredible.
